Located at 76 King St., Ibiza Kitchen opened in mid-December and mimics the offerings at its Danbury locale.
Executive Chef Ignacio Blanco has been serving up Spanish cuisine for two decades and aims to bring a modern twist to some classic dishes.
Ibiza Kitchen’s menu features Spanish classics such as:
- Txangurro: A dish made with Maryland blue crab, avocado, red onions, bell peppers and Romesco alioli
- Costillitas: Slow cooked baby back ribs served with broccoli rabe, chorizo, potato puree and BBQ alioli
- Pollo: Organic chicken breast served with cauliflower salad, saffron, grapes and red curry
Ibiza Kitchen also features a variety of wines and pastries, including some gluten-free options. So far, Ibiza Kitchen seems to be making a strong impression on social media:
“We are regular patrons of Ibiza in Danbury and are thrilled to be able to enjoy this fabulous new restaurant closer to home, bravo Ignacio,” Tina Olney wrote in a Dec. 15 Facebook review.
Ibiza Kitchen is open six days a week. Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. For more information, visit the restaurant’s website or call the main line at (914) 458-5044.
